I'm on episode 7, so not going to read anything in this thread yet, but could the OP change this thread to the official thread? It's really good so far, like, really really good

I say watch it. It’s got enough intrigue and missing holes from the past to keep me watching. I said before that some people might not like it because it’s “another superhero story “. Which is fine, I get it. But I’m gonna stick with it. Also sort of reminds me of American Gods, which I still haven’t seen the second season of because I bailed on STARZ.

Don't bother. STARZ canceled it after the biggest cliffhanger ever.

Seriously??? Holy frick! And after that long lay off where folks were pining away for its return.

No wonder I've not heard anything about it since!

The Chloe-centric episode sucked. Well. All of her scenes sucked anyway. The flashbacks really are the best part of this show.

Her broke down addict arse is the worst. If another season means more of her, this show is not for long. And that edgy Karen cut is awful.

Spoilers to those who read the comics:

Did Walt become a villain in the comics or was it just George?

George was the biggest supervillain of all time- but we learn later that path was started by Walt. Walt is the puppetmaster in the comics- you want to see him go down.
SPOILER:

The deaths of Lady Liberty and Utopian were two of the worst I've ever seen in a comic series. Very grim and shocking.

Man. Walter is me jealous, cold hearted bitch. Just offed his daughter like OmniMan was about to off Invincible.

Guess Skyfox is the real hero.

I've finished through episode 5 and the show still hasn't seemed to go anywhere. I'm rolling on, but I'm not expecting much anymore.

This show also has some weird effects on my TV (Bravia Masterclass before anyone says anything). In certain scenes, it's like the brightness and color correction change. I'm sure I need to adjust some active setting in the picture format, but this is the only show that seems to do it.

I finished this last night. I wished they would have just done it in chronological order.

I really liked the back story, search for skull island trip.

It was good but I felt they way it was told , the suspense of the island adventure was lost because you knew the out come.

I will watch a 2nd season

Yea I'm wondering how that would play out on Netflix.

Why was he talking to the clone on the beach in the first battle if he knew he was a clone? Who is Walt fighting when he goes into the mind of the clone in the last fight?

I assumed this was all set up to influence the others. He's likely more powerful than the rest of the group realizes and is able to influence Raiku and Grace without them realizing it.

I liked the show overall. Campy at times but still enough adult material to keep me interested. Not nearly as good as the boys but I look forward to a second season. Hopefully they can tighten up some of the action moving forward. This one is likely a Netflix cancellation risk though unless a second season kills it. I doubt this was cheap to produce.

Another show that relies heavily on flashbacks.
