Tina went to Chick-fil-A in Houston on March 22 to pick up food ahead of the dinner rush. She gave her order to the employee at the drive-thru, who also took down her name and put it in the iPad ordering system.
quote:
When she got her receipt, she was shocked to find that her name was listed not as Tina but as "China."
quote:
"Then it dawned on me," she told Insider, explaining that it didn't feel like a simple misunderstanding to her.
quote:
Tina told Insider she'd be satisfied if Chick-fil-A were to tell her that it planned to "offer more training and reassure that they'll do more."

Don’t believe her. Don’t care if it’s true.

This is the result of victim culture. Everyone thinks the world is out to get them.

Oh for fricks sake why is this newsworthy?
Why don’t we have a news story every time a 5th grader calls another 5th grader a bad name? This bullshite about words being violence is pathetic and makes this entire country look weak.
Just think back in history of all the brutal and tough things humans have endured and inflicted on one another... and here is the entire country getting bent out of shape over barely offensive epithets

It sucks that we have the ability to see every individual instance of someone being an a-hole.
Some people flat out suck, we get it

Maybe the CEO will wash her feet as atonement

Somehow, the media will say this is worse and will have a bigger impact than all the attacks and murders carried out by black people on asians across the country.

I mean, "Tina" and "China" aren't very far off at all and it is possible autocorrect took over.
Well within the realm of possibility.
People are too fricking sensitive.
