You said it. No one traditionally wants to go there. People have not idea where it is. Tough place to recruit. The unbelievable facility will help.

I've said that for years and you chastised me for it in the past. He isn't doing anything new. He has always been this type of coach.

I’ve heard someone mention Cain before. Please tell me this isn’t true.

Whenever PM is replaced, it will be a gamble hire anyway. They won’t have a resume that’s equal to PM. Hopefully they have more success here than PM but it damn sure isn’t a guarantee

Will it really be a gamble hire? He will probably be 5 years removed from the last Omaha trip with the program kind of stuck in neutral.

Absolutely will be. Could easily end up with someone worse

There are candidates who are proven. They’re young and driven and understand what it takes to win and recruit. I want Tennessee’s coach right now.

Well yeah, you looked pretty stupid wanting him fired in the 2012-2017 range. We went to omaha numerous times and the championship series. Regardless of your personal likes/dislikes, he was doing a good during that timeframe

I mention it as a joke because it’s the exact kind of dumb frick hire our administration is prone to making at times. And it makes people physically ill when I call him the HCIW.

It’s like they don’t realize that if you say that any coach will be fired or retire soon for long enough you’ll eventually be right.

If I would’ve started saying that about Saban in 2009 I will eventually be right. But being right in that year won’t change how wrong I was every other year.

I don’t like Paul because he’s an egotistical dick who players hate and he is prone to get lazy. See 2010 and 2018. The failures in the post season are a reflection of his insecurity and tinkering with his players. He doesn’t believe in them so they don’t believe in themselves. It took 3 returners who came back for each other for 2017 to happen. They didn’t do it for Paul.

I wouldn't worry about Bianco, he's got better facilities, and doesn't have to face a fan base with over the top expectations every season. Riser is the one I'd be worried about.
