I've fallen terribly far behind on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as of late. I've not seen Endgame, but I know who dies, and such. Is there any chance a viewer could enjoy Falcon and the Winter Soldier without having a clue about recent goings-on in the characters' lives, in your estimation?

Not trying to be rude Hoodie, but why haven’t you watched it yet? I feel like the past year would have been a good time to catch up.

Wonder is this show will have the same insane conspiracy theories that WV did

Shows how much i've been paying attention. I thought this was going to be a movie in theaters.

Don't have very high expectations for this show, but ill still likely watch every episode. I have watched every piece of content the MCU has put out, unless you count Agents of Shield

This seems less fun than I thought it would be. The tone is dark and both men are struggling. Lol at falcon not getting a loan. That was a bit ridiculous. Employed veterans are hardly ever turned down for those things especially with collateral.

ETA: I did like the LSU shoutout.

I liked the LSU reference.

Really good first episode. That action sequence to start it was pretty fantastic.

After watching this episode I just thought about something, how exactly did Falcon did get his suit? I haven't seen the earlier movies in a while. I believe he was introduced in CA2?

Did Stark make it? I can't picture any interactions between Sam and Stark. I just know he is former military guy, but apparently must be a tech guy as well?

I thought it was a very strong opening episode. Character driven, but that big action scene up front was sweet too. I'm not really that big of an espionage and intrigue guy, but I liked it in Winter Solider and Civil War and I'm liking it here too. The Louisiana connection is a nice touch for us. (in the comics, Monica Rambeau was from La. too. I can't remember if she is in the MCU, but it would be pretty cool to have two Louisiana based MCU superheroes).

To be honest, I'm not really expecting this show to get a huge positive reaction on this board - or the present day iteration of any TD board. Will be interesting to see how it plays out, though.

Of all the Marvel Universe...why they dedicate a series to Falcon and WS amazes me. WGAS about these guys? After Wanda and Vision this is like giving the CBS 3:00 SEC game to two Sun Belt schools.

Watched it this weekend. I was pretty bored through most of the episode. I hope it picks up.
