I used to mulch and bag. Now days everyone just blows everything in the street. Then they complain when the drains are clogged.

People are blowing compact cars into the street where you live.

we have a truck that drives around once a week and sucks all the yard debris up. so you're kinda supposed to get it out to the curb

Just got done doing that. You got a camera on me?

If the pile of debris is to big I get the broom out and sweep it into a garbage bag. The rest is just dust in the wind. We have a good ocean breeze out here.

This is a massive pet peeve of mine. Either sweep the clippings up or blow them back in your yard. The street isn't your personal trash can.

Nobody does that in my subdivision. Some of the clippings right at the end of the driveway get blown into the street, but not everything.

In Jefferson parish it’s a $500fine. It takes someone to complain. They give you a warning next time they fine you or so they say

Never made sense to me. Blow leaves onto the curb but then vehicles drive by all day and blow them right back in your lawn. We also have street sweepers once every couple of weeks but I respect my neighbors and bag.

When New Orleans stopped filling potholes with asphalt; we resorted to using grass clippings and leaves.

Present. I blow all the mulchings into the street. My mower even has a bag that I choose to not use

I have a neighbor that, after mowing his yard, will get out the blower, start up at the edge of his house, and blow the entire yard down into the street. He spends more time blowing than it took him to mow.

I bag leaves, but blow trimmings.

We have our streets swept regularly. Never looks too bad for very long and the drains never get clogged.
