He drained one early in the year that was pretty. I just remember thinking dear god if he has that shot, the league is screwed. The league is already screwed, that would just be double penetration.

It is a dumb opinion. Zion does not need some crazy jump shot. He is too fast for bigger defenders, too big for faster defenders, and too good of a passer to double.
He is a shooter so he thinks he needs to shoot. Why would he want him to shoot less efficient shots?

I understand his point, but how often will a 15-18ft jumper be more efficient than his driving for a layup/assist? He'd have to turn into DeRozan from midrange for anyone to not defend the drive.

NAW and Jax are gonna end up being players. Kira has shown flashes of brilliance already. And Zion and BI are u stoppable.
I'm trying to remain grounded, but it's hard not to be optimistic about this young core.

Unfortunately we do. Whatever we pay him, we as fans will feel it is an overpay, but I believe around the league it will be considered a good contract.

I agree. It would be one thing if he said “if he develops a jump shot he’d be unstoppable” but he put it as he HAS to develop a jump shot. He’s proven he can hit the occasional 3 and his efficiency under the rim is god like. I don’t think every team will be able to do what the Spurs did and put 3 people at the free throw line to build a wall
