Professional sports should be free to attend. Lotto for tickets. Money is made on TV deals so allow greater access to fans and young kids. That is your next crop of money makers. I cant attend an MLB game for less than a hundred now. IMO, it is one of the reasons baseball viewership is declining.

Alabama foootball 2020 isn’t the best team ever that honor goes to LSU 19. They didn’t have to travel to Texas who was a top ten team.

If the NFL did a league wide draft with every active player, Lamar Jackson would barely be in the first 10-qbs selected

Hockey will explode in popularity now that ESPN has their broadcasting rights. Corporate Disney will push highlights/talking heads on every ESPN show to ensure the ratings improve

The College World Series is better than the NCAA (basketball) Tournament.

And to further add, Back Home in Omaha is a better song than One Shining Moment.

Because frick these schools who do nothing but cater to corporate sponsors and give us alumni the shaft at every single conceivable opportunity

To buy a single game ticket through A&M, I have to pay the face value, and then make a lump sum "donoation" per ticket I buy on top of that. And if I don't want to do that, I have to go through a 3rd party website that charges up to 35-40% service fees. And god help me if I want to buy a damn sofa

And thats before we get into how schools are screwing tailgaters to make way for sponsored things. And how you get beaten into submission by ads at games

Paying for 2-3 people, parking, food. Yes. It adds up. Me and the old man would catch games at the old Fulton County stadium for the cheap. It is one of the reasons I was obsessed with baseball growing up. Seeing all of the big names live is a different experience.
