IMO NYC style pizza is seriously overrated. Rays, Patsy, all of them basically serve greasy cardboard. There is good Neapolitan style here Serafina, Otto (RIP).

The last pizza I had from Mid City was under baked and doughy. It will be the last I have. Place is so incredibly overrated. Pizza Delicious is the best when it’s on point, but they’ve been incredibly inconsistent the last 6 months.

Many will disagree and it’s likely because I grew up eating it, but pepperoni from West Main Pizza in Houma is my #1 slice.

I had Mo’s on the Westbank the other day and thought it was great.

I do rank mid city pizza above pizza delicious- MCP meat monster is one of the greatest pizzas I’ve ever had. Pizza delicious is always a bit greasy. Looking forward to trying the place at NOLA Brewery soon.

Mo's sauce is too sweet. Other than that it is fine.

No, I'm really not.

Note that I didn't say you can't fine excellent pizza in NY, because you absolutely can. I'm just saying that the most prevalent pizza here is pretty mediocre in general.

That crust looks legit.

Another great place is Nola Mia. They actually have a food truck also that has come to Prairieville a couple of times recently. Good stuff.
