Guice and Miles allegations further proof how college football is so out of control!

I know someone will say it's only allegations, but there's too much smoke for something not to have happened. I don't think these young ladies woke up one day and said I'm going to make up some crap up about the head football coach of a major university and the star running back just to have some fun.
It's amazing to me how much crap is covered up and to what extent these universities will go to in order to protect these individuals. Imagine the crap over the years that has been covered up and we will never know about. Sadly, this problem is not an LSU problem, but this is something that has been happening for years across campuses nationwide!
These two cases are just a small glimpse of how out of control college football has become. When football coaches make 5xs more than their bosses and players are given money, girls, cars, jobs and houses to sign with a school, something needs to change or it's only going to get worse.
The reality is college football has nothing to do with college! It's about big money and winning at all costs. At what point do the fans and universities demand major changes be made or do we continue to look the other way while college football gets more and more out of control?
If you think things are bad now, you ain't seen nothing yet!

It's not a college football problem, it's a money problem.
These things happen everywhere and are covered up everywhere anyone stands to lose money by them coming out.

Yep. No sexual assaults, rapes, harassment, false accusations, etc. happen on campuses in general. ONLY the football programs.

Putting Guice and Miles in the same bucket is pretty absurd

Men have been chasing women for thousands of years and using positions of wealth and authority to take advantage. You seriously think this is a recent phenomenon? And restricted to college sports? Btw it's not only men chasing women, it goes both ways and is true for gays as well.

Remember when all the allegations about Miles came out during his time at Oklahoma St
Miles was a renegade coach and is being exposed for who he truly is and he learned it from the best in McCartney at Colorado. It's also glaring how Michigan passed on him and the rumors were that there was a reason they did!
The problem at LSU is on Alleva's watch
That dude had no clue how to run a college athletics program
Why is Segar involved in all of these cases as the point person? That is a problem in itself. I can't imagine the stress she has had to deal with. Everyone has attacked Segar for no reason.

The ONLY difference between now and 30, 40, 50 years ago is that there are more sources to disseminate information than ever before. Stuff like this has been happening for decades...at many schools across the country. Hell, Billy Cannon was CONSTANTLY getting in trouble with the law for drinking, fighting, and all kinds of other shite while he was at LSU. It just got covered up and there were only 2-3 media outlets around to potentially find it.
If it offends your sensibilities or moral code then stop supporting it.
It is a multi-million dollar entertainment business masquerading at amateur athletics. One that is beholden to the market factors of supply and demand. The demand for their school to win at a big time level is high while the supply of coaches/players that can make that happen is low. With the enterprise comes big money, notoriety, fame, power, appeal and privilege. Always has, always will. Particularly when the participants are immature 18-21 year old men. Many of whom come from underprivileged backgrounds and/or little to no parental structure whatsoever.

Guice almost Cost O the job by running the wrong way v UF. I never was a big guice guy. Imagine if that UF loss would have cost O the job.
No burrow.
No title last year.
No GOAT season.
guice almost cost us all of that.

Dude, wake up. LSU athletes/coaches never do anything wrong. It’s ALWAYS false allegations. Will Wade, Miles, etc.
Only other schools do bad things. And the other schools shouldn’t even have an investigation. Any allegation should be treated as truth.

Just wait until the players start getting paid if you think they're entitled selfish a-holes now.

Miles covered up ALOT of things
Perrilloux is just what most people know about
You wanna know why I turned against Miles:
In 2008 A player broadsided a friend of mine at Nicholson/Ben Hur at the end of 2008. Now it wasn’t totally the players fault...BUT...he was clearly speeding and the accident could have been avoided.
I know it was a player because I was first to the scene and I talked to him
Nothing happened
Then I thought back to all the people I knew (waiters/waitresses) who had run ins with Miles players that year and the calls the managers received to gag them...and it dawned on me
The LSU program under miles was one big coverup program

Dude you are about 35 years too late. College FB is about being a minor league for the NFL. The SEC, ACC, Big 10, Pac 12, Big 12 are minor leagues for the NFL and we as fans and alumni support it financially.
