Baltimore City student ranks near the top half of his class with a 0.13 GPA

Anyone who has seen The Wire shouldn’t be surprised at this... or anyone with any idea how inner city schools work. There is a reason Atlanta schools almost* lost accreditation for cheating 10+ years ago.

They just need more funding and programs

Needs to find a trade school. Finishing high school won’t happen after mom finds out she won’t be getting a government check monthly when he turns 18.

Good Lord that lady. Kid was absent or tardy 272 times and it is the school's fault? This country is lost.

Well this is probably a clue as to what the problem is. I think the school has to intervene with these types of cases early on but there are issues with the parenting clearly to be so uninvolved to not know your child is failing....for four years.
