Our current constitution is fine, just strengthen it from any politician unilaterally making Executive orders. Also, impose strict term limits of 4 years, no politician is allowed to become a lobbyist for up to 10 years after the end of their term, stream line a path to citizenship for immigrating here the right way, but voting can't happen for 5-10 years after you are a full citizen. Clean up regulations, dismantle union contracts with government, and start fresh. If you want to join a union, go for it, but every state is a right to work state. The only investing/trading of stocks/bonds allowed by politicians are with assets currently owned up to 2 years prior to holding office. No new trading allowed while in office. All government workers are forced onto government healthcare/benefits programs. Any such changes to these programs, they themselves, must also suffer. For every dollar increase in spending, $2 must be cut elsewhere. Balanced budget amendment. All politicians must reside in their home state 70% of the year. Every facet of the federal government shall be subject to a full audit. Complete energy independence.
