Do you not take a Flu shot either?
I’ve taken both of my Moderna shots. I didn’t die from those either.

The funny thing is, most plant workers at refineries deny any correlation of increased cancer risks by working there. No worries about smoking cigarettes, a well known carcinogen. Drink a six pack a day, which is obviously unhealthy. For some reason, they adopt a vegan attitude when offered a vaccine.

Usually not because I just forget to and I rarely get sick but that's comparing apple and oranges

Cool and I am sure you also have a crystal ball into the future to let you know there were no long-term effects because drugs have never had any long-term complications.
You do you and I will do me.

I hope you don't need medical care soon since in your opinion the vast majority of doctors are idiots.

More vaccines are available. A great thing. Expect Fauci to be on TV tomorrow morning harping on the 67% efficacy relative to the other vaccine such that he works the ignorant public into a panic and not wanting to receive this particular vaccine.

Sadly, there’s just a silly amount of people not getting the vaccine.
What about the people who want the vaccine, but can't get the vaccine?

Probably no worse than the fried food you eat causing plaque build up in your arteries. But I guess if this is where you want to draw the line that’s cool.
When you do get COVID and your transmission window to other people is longer because you didn’t get the vaccine, it just makes you more of a jackass.

Probably
That seems real scientific. Good enough for me.

What happens if I never get it?
I am supposed to pump some rushed medicine into my body with no understanding of long-term effects on the off chance I COULD possibly get the virus one day possibly?
What happened to "my body, my choice"?

Hopefully the opportunity presents itself soon with a third vaccine in play.

Vaccines don’t work what works is changing how cases are counted

You mean we don't truly have an all-time historic low of the common flu cases?

Sounds like an argument for masks and social distancing.

You mean more extreme mitigation standards like actually making sick kids at schools/sick folks at work stay home, wash their hands, and distance have significantly reduced a virus that is mitigated through hand washing and staying home when sick?
Who knew?

Im with you on the social distancing. I hope that stays put because people are gross but do you truly think that and mask are the sole reason for low flu cases? People are wearing cotton shirt sleeves on their faces and you think that is stopping the transmission of the flu?

Probably somewhat. Probably more attributable is the people checking kids as they go to school for a fever, and sending them back home if they are febrile.

It’s certainly stops many of the droplets that carry the Flu. If you were to isolate the Flu virus than you’d have a better argument.
Do you think surgeons wear masks because it makes them look cool?

Not COVID specific, but immune compromised people can’t get all vaccines so herd immunity helps keep them safe

Yep. Long- term (5-6 years) data on viral vector vaccines. Ebola vaccine is one case.

Do you think they wear them to prevent patients from contracting respiratory viruses?
