As soon as I noticed this very attractive and really friendly, female looking, human bein had a "package", (while at the Bar), I did not check to compare.

ETA; But dammit "she" was pretty and thinking about now, probably out of my league.

This. Gender is a grammatical term. Gender does not equal sex. There are two sexes.

That's the crux of it all. Some people make this a semantic argument, while others will debate the science. There are many anthropologic studies that detail how gender has a cross-cultural spectrum. Some societies recognize a "third" gender.

The science is settled that there are rare cases of intersex genotypes. Additionally, the medical literature has long been clear that "trans" and "non-binary" individuals experience varying forms of gender dysphoria. Typically these people also are diagnosed with a wide range of psychiatric issues likely as a result of the dysphoria.

Furthermore, there is very little evidence that going along with gender dysphoria through hormone treatments and surgery will have long-lasting positive outcomes on mental health. Some studies even suggest that chances of suicide will increase after surgical procedures.

So, yes we can recognize that some people may not naturally conform to various gender norms of a given culture. However, I can't imagine why policy makers feel the need for everyone to bend over backwards to change wording and go out of their way to ask people their pronouns.

At least the doctor admits that this crap is not based in science.

Hey Doc. I think I'll just go with science to make policy and not the feelings of a bunch of people with mental problems and their enablers.

Gender isn't a science?

I guess the early scientific fathers failed to take into account sock color preferences.

Why doesn't she go look up the definition before a bunch of far, far, far left-wing whackjobs recently changed it for political purposes.

Ya know, like the definition that's been there since dictionaries were first published.

I agree and remember reading of Native American tribes would assign special, (non sexual), duties and were afforded respect because the "Spirit" had made them "special".

This LBGTQ+ stuff is pandering to a very, very very small, (for now) sub-group. WHY?

My wife asked me if "Transgender Dudes", had their junk cut off. Good question.

Anyway, back in more sane days in the good old USA, we used to have "Sissies" and "Tom Boys".

How come we can tell from archeological digs which skeletons were male and which were female?

A video facility where I worked had a person in the kitchen who was a real hermaphrodite from Jamaica.

Back in colonial days, when a hermaphrodite was born, they would be sent to a village in the mountains with other hermaphrodites. At puberty some would become predominately male or female and some of those reproduced.

The drug Proscar came from discoveries in that village. It was noted that the male hermaphrodites never developed enlarged prostates. Finesteride was isolated and used to shrink enlarged prostates. It also grows hair (not always where you want hair growth).

Why TF anyone thinks admission to a certain bathroom should hinge on whether or not someone played with barbie as a child is beyond me.

If gender is merely interests, why are we separating women's sports, scholarships, etc, based on hobby choice?

Clearly there's more there.
