Anyone know of a place in BR that can repair Power Wheels kids cars? The closest authorized place Fisher Price recommends is in New Iberia but I dont have the proper haircut.

theres not much to them. YouTube and order parts on amazon. theres a switch, wire harness, and electric motor, and battery. that's really all there is to replace.

While you are tinkering with it, drop a lawn mower battery into that mutha. The kids will love it.

I can't think of anything part of them electrically you can't diagnose with a $3 multimeter.

Serious question, are general repair shops still in existence? I would have guessed most if not all have been run out of business.

Pretty sure you could almost buy another one for what it would cost to repair.

There used to be a few local electronics repair places in BR but now everything is so disposable.

Be a man and YouTube that shite. I would just buy a new one before a went to an "authorized dealer". Its just a 12V battery and an electric motor and a series of switches. You can order any parts you need off Amazon. I could be ASE certified in power wheel repair at this point.

12 volts is 12 volts. A lawn mower battery won't change the performance on a power wheel. Converting it to 24 volts will get you moving.

Hangit can certify that this is a wonderful upgrade.

It just stopped working. Its the 4 wheeler ATV. We also have a Jeep and swapped batteries. It def not the battery. The pedal and gear button seems fine. My dad has some electrical know how and he said the pedal and gear shift seems fine. I guess I ll have to crack the chassis open to further investigate.

Did he check the actual voltage going through the pedal switch. 9/10 times it’s the pedal switch from kids stomping them. They will still click but not make contact.
