You're right. It's not just the injuries sustained in this particular event, it's the cumulative effect it will have on his body. He's had a lot of injuries in the past. He didn't need this to add to the list.

Well this press conference is pointless.

I’d be most concerned about this wreck happening right after back surgery. He said in an interview last weekend he had an MRI scheduled this week to see if he was ready to resume more physical activity. For his sake, I hope this accident didn’t undo his progress or make things worse for his back

Okay I really hope Tiger comes out of this in good shape.

I don't know if it has already been mentioned but I'm going to mention it because I know a lot of people are thinking it.

Tiger is currently tied with Sam Snead for the most PGA wins at 82. He is has 15 Majors and 3 behind Jack with 18.

If he comes back from this and takes the all time lead in PGA wins Tiger is GOAT, even if he doesn't catch Jack in Majors, IMO.

The Tiger Woods story is such a tragedy. The guy has all the fame, talent, money, and winning in the world but you can tell he's not a happy person.

It seemed like he had turned the corner with his life and this latest setback set him off again

The ghost of his perfectionist dad is a blessing and curse.

“Fortunately, he was able to stand and we were able to assist him out of his vehicle as I stated earlier, so that would be a promising sign...” -Capt. Ron Haralson LA County Fire Dept.

This is a great sign. If he was able to stand then it could just be a clean break and he should heal up fine.

Drugs, meaningless sex. His father dying destroyed him. He lost that strong hand structure.

3 years ago maybe. But his triumphant return at the masters and his peers on tour embracing the new and down to earth approachable Tiger was very real.

He was running late for a photo shoot and golf with Brees and Hebert. So it appears he just lost control trying to get there quick. They said he showed no signs of impairment.

Or just a fracture and not a compound fracture.

The lesson here is don’t put out a documentary 5 years too early.

Not sure if I just saw a live shot or if this was discussed already, but espn just ran a clip of the footage and a police officer was picking up debris and had in his hand what was clearly either a fifth/liter sized bottle of wine or liquor.

It’s being reported that the sheriffs office does not think he was under the influence of anything. Maybe it was just trash from the road? Who knows

I really hope he does. I honestly feel his 2019 Masters win is one of the great sports redemption stories of all time.

This will rustle jimmies, but while I’d love to see it, Tiger has no need to add to his legacy though. He’s been the GOAT for a decade, just unfortunately had injuries and demons derail him from shattering records
