Given past threads from other people who handled “diversity” measures, my guess is that she was incompetent at everything except documenting her supposed mistreatment by the school.
She may have been fired because of her complaints if they were baseless and were a smokescreen to attempt to block her firing on other grounds.

I had a female employee throw a tantrum in a review meeting where she actually received a 5K a year raise. She said she quit and stormed out. She wanted 10K. Her review didn’t support that big of an increase.
The next day she called and asked for her job back and apologized. I was able to record our conversation. I politely told her that her position was no longer available.
She tried to claim unemployment and I fought it. She made it all the way to the administrative judge hearing. She tried to claim that the work environment was toxic and she was being forced to work more than 40 hrs per week. She was a salaried employee that made 65K per year.
I simply played the recording of our phone call. The judge asked her if that was her in the call and she confirmed. Judge dismissed her case.
The next day she called and asked for her job back and apologized. I was able to record our conversation. I politely told her that her position was no longer available.
