Surely being in 2nd place in the SEC to the best Bama team in 50 years is good right?

He is continuing to grow as a coach.

He is the youngest coach in the SEC and one of the youngest in college basketball. He will continue to grow and learn. Let's see if those who criticize non stop will give him credit for back to back blowouts.

Not bad for the "worst coach ever" not bad for an "awful in game coach"

66.1% SEC winning percentage since he took over in an SEC thats more competitive than it has ever been. Add in the fact that he had a shitty roster year 1 that was predicted to finish in last place.

69.9% winning percentage. Best in school history since 1920.

It's always been ok to give him praise for a job well done. Just don't anoint him the greatest coach in the country (as many of his worshipers tend to do).

Wade has had some lousy games, but today was not one of them. He should get credit today for a good game plan that was well-executed.

This board is full of retards. Literally. It used to be entertaining, now this "fire everyone" crowd is just aggravating.

LSU is a once in a lifetime wiretapping scandal away from being a top 5 team with year with better assistants

tPear crushed his first three seasons and is still doing a nice job this year, albeit we should be 15-4 or better.

Questioning tPear’s vision is a bad move

Look hes a great recruiter. But to become a championship contender year in and year out, he's gonna have to coach em up. Jury is still out on whether he can do that.

The defensive effort has been greatly improved.

I even saw some semblance of a half court offensive scheme, inbounds creativity, and press break improvement.

This was certainly one of the more well rounded performances that I've seen.

People who don’t think he’s a good coach and only a great recruiter just don’t know basketball. It’s a tired cliche at this point. They go to it immediately with no good context.

If you truly believe this you would not keep every time someone talks about the areas he needs growth.

he’s been a coach for 16 years and a D-1 head coach for 8 years.

The youth excuse doesn’t fly.

He had his team ready to play. You could see that they had been working to get some things corrected. He still may not be the best in terms of X's and O's but at least you can see he is working to get his team better.

Here's something that needs to be acknowledged. You want to be playing your best ball from here on out. Year after year teams like Nova, Mich St., Duke, Carolina, Kansas---the elite programs, play their best later in the season. This is due to Coaching and the Pear has done it with our guys every year, too. Let's hope the defensive intensity and moving the ball some on the other end continues. Arguing against his record shows a lack of realistic expectations.
