I think this is all bullshite!!
Washington Redskins were an iconic brand and that redskin logo was awesome. It was giving the Indians some publicity and they were relevant to me. It was the Redskins, call a spade a spade. Their skin was red, live with it. Its OK to call us honkies and whitties, you won't here a peep out of me, but call a black man a n... or and Indian red and all hell breaks loose. Wasn't there a big group of Indians who supported Washington? Where was their voice? Stolen like the election. I'm ready for a civil war, any Indians want to join our side, you bringing bows & arrows or guns?
Bowing down to these assholes will slowly erode any rights we have. They are trying to cancel the USA, much less the Redskins franchise.
Valpo should be ashamed as any other high school, college, or pro team who bows down to these losers.

They're tied to Christianity, just like the Crusaders. Really makes no sense why a private Christian school would cave like this. Plenty of fringe right wing hate groups like the KKK latch on to Christian imagery. In the case of Valpo, I think you'd really have to be looking to be offended to see their logo and see anything related to a hate group.

I never understood why a Lutheran School would call themselves the Crusaders. As pointed out the Lutherans were a few hundred years after the Crusades.
Holy Cross by the way is keeping the Crusaders. I think it's a good name for Catholic schools as long as you make clear you are crusading for Christ and the Church and not going to Jerusalem to take it back.
