BilJ said he wasn’t even top 10! I mean seriously what grudge are you holding against LF? Because he sat out a meaningless bowl game due to injury? People on this board are very quick to shite on LF, but the dude actually lived up to the incredible hype that surrounded him. He was a monster. Just watch the Auburn highlights. He’s throwing SEC defenders around like they’re little kids.

Also, it’s called “recency bias” not “decency bias” Catfish genius.

Georgia may be clearer if you count Kevin Mawae being born in Savannah although he obviously was in Louisiana for high school.

Georgia also had Perry Riley besides the others already mentioned.

Isn't T-Bob from Georgia?

Did he ever even take a snap? Kole Taylor has already eclipsed what TC did.

Saying Fournette is not even “Top 5 in LA” requires you to judge him on something other than his college career.

You’re comparing him to other RBs. I didn’t say he wasn’t top 5 RB from Louisiana. We’ve had some wonderful players at other positions.

I know they had fewer carries but Hill and Guice had seasons with better YPC and had similar or same career YPC. And they preceded and seceded Leonard.

I think, and have said several times in this thread, that Leonard was a great player and Tiger.

Louisiana is impossible to say because there have been so many but LF7 was pretty big. Aside from the Bama game(not his fault) he ran wild on everyone and if the McNeese game wouldn’t have been rained out his season totals would have put him ahead of Henry. LF gets a bad wrap for the bowl game and some of his ways, but the dude still reps LSU and he fought through several injuries to battle with his team. He is certainly one of the greatest Tigers of all time. Maybe not the best that’s from LA but he’s up there.

LA: Casanova or Tyrann

Yep, this would be a great debate.

Glenn Dorsey probably a close 3rd, although some may have him above Tyrann since he stayed four years and won so many awards, plus a natty.

Fournette is a clown pick

He was the closest player we've to winning the Heisman in a long long time

And he should have won it. Had we gotten to play SELU that year, he would have bested Henry in every statistical rushing category

Georgia - Kevin Minter?

I’d say either him or Arden Key
Minter was a better player and had a much bigger impact at LSU.

If we’re going off of impact alone, Kelvin Sheppard wins Georgia.

People forget how great of a leader he was/is. That’s why he’s a coach in the NFL now.
