You can make a case for one of the best athletes ever sure. But his resume is lacking to say he’s a top 2 tiger of all time.
Okay. Fair enough if you're only judging by resume.
Remember that time Fournette was way ahead of Derrick Henry in the Heisman and Yards race, until we faced Alabama and they shut our one dimensional shitshow down?
Stick "resume" up your arse. Fournette was the Barry Sanders of LSU Football. He did what he did with NO help.
There has never been a RB for LSU as big, strong, and fast as Fournette. Hell his Playoff TD vs Green Bay is a perfect example of what that guy has that nobody else had at LSU.
I can guarantee Derrick Henry and Alvin Kamara don't get 6 here.
Fournette Touchdown Vs Green Bay

His 1,953 rushing yards broke the LSU record and rank second in SEC history behind Alabama's Derrick Henry, who rushed for 2,219 yards while playing three games more than Fournette last fall. Fournette's average of 162.8 rushing yards per game last season led the FBS and ranks second in SEC history behind Georgia legend Herschel Walker (171.9 YPG in 1981).

Fournette is a clown pick. It shows decency bias big time.
At a school known for great backs, and with no help from even the ATTEMPT of a passing game, Fournette owns:
1. Highest average yards/season
2. Highest single season by a mile
3. 3/10 highest games ever
4. Misses best ever rushing game by 1 yard, but 16 for 284 (17.3) is far better than 37 for 285 (7.7)
The only RBs ahead of him in any career category played four healthy years, to his 2.5, and barely edge him out.
Saying Fournette is not even “Top 5 in LA” requires you to judge him on something other than his college career.
