Ive heard it was a really terrible school at some points and a really great school at other points putting out tremendous talent.

Once they closed down, where do you think the people who went there, now send their kids? What private/public schools are in that area?

I went for a summer when I failed a semester of Spanish 2 in high school. On the first day the teacher asked how many are here for Spanish 1. Most of the class raised their hands. He said ok I'm just gonna teach Spanish 1 and you guys here from Spanish 2 can complain or just go along with it and get your credit.Nobody complained.

The few people I know who went there lived no where near there

However, the Family Christian Academy is not that far, neither is Dunham - and perhaps St. Aloysius for elementary?

Just sitting around and sincerely concerned where kids went??
Ok, I will take a stab. I would guess one of the many public or private schools in BR, some may have decided to homeschool. Hope this helps you sleep tonight.

They had a lot of great athletes: Lefors, Jasmine, Clayton, White, Galloway, and many others. They were one of the only BR private schools trashier and less concerned with academics than Parkview during their existence. If you’re from the New Orleans area they are the equivalent of École

If they are want to send their kids to a similar school the only one comparable I can think of is Family Christian Academy. Maybe Parkview Baptist.

After “The Church” bought it, it was a dump. Don’t know what it was like before. Went to some sporting events and for some reason I thought it was going to be much nicer and larger than it was and it was only like a year after CLA folded and the other place took over. Saw Galloway championship banners in gym.

They produced Michael Clayton for LSU

Also Josh White who was inexplicably not recruited by LSU, went to UNT and came to the PMAC and beat LSU’s arse

Momma 19 tried to send me there in 10th grade. The principal bragged how some teachers caught some students smoking weed on the levee and called their parents...Mom said, "How nice for them," stood up, thanked her for her time, and we left.

God, I love my Mom.

If the campus is now just sitting dormant, maybe St George could make it one of the high schools they're gonna need.

The downfall of that school was the name change. Michael Clayton was great
