I doubt Harris in untouchable. He's critical to what they need, and Redick would provide that for them in his absence, and Bledsoe would provide the perimeter defense they desperately need.

I don't know what Houston is doing, but trading LeVert for Oladipo seems really stupid if you're trying to rebuild. I think they are trying to suck, and plan on doing a slow rebuild over the next 2-3 years waiting for Wall's contract to get off the books. I'd bet they try to trade egghead before the deadline as well.

Per the Athletic's (Sam Amick and Kelly Iko) very detailed description inside the trade negotiations -

quote:

The Nets, sources said, appeared willing to trade anyone but Durant, Irving and Joe Harris (whom they’d signed to a four-year, $75 million deal entering this season).

The 2 best Lonzo trades we could realistically do imo:

Hornets: Lonzo
Knicks: Rozier
Rockets: Dallas 1st, Melli
Pels: Tucker, House

Or

Cavs: Zo, Melli, top 20 protected 1st that turns to 2 2nds
Pels: Nance Jr, Porter Jr

If Redick was playing exactly how he did last year, hitting 45% of his threes, the Nets wouldn't hesitate to trade Harris for Redick/Bledsoe.

Not giving up that first. they can have their 2nds back that we own.
and i don't want Porter Jr, period.

It's a fake 1st, there's no way we will get into the back 9 spots of the draft, and if we do then that means the trade was well worth it.

Then reroute him. But you get off of Lonzo and you get Nance for this year and next, unless you want to trade him. Gives you plenty of time to see how he fits and if you want to offer him once hes a FA. More importantly, it gives SVG no excuse to not play NAW and Kira.

Don't think the Hornets would want to downgrade at PG in order to pay Lonzo more than Rozier.

I'll say this, if he gets more minutes than NAW tonight then I might be donE with the coach

If Lonzo is %100 healthy, he's going to. Not that I agree, but I don't think SVG is going to cut his minutes that much this early in the season.

Also, you're just going to make yourself and everybody you talk to miserable if you are going to be done with the coach this soon in his stay. That's just ridiculous.

Everyone needs to prepare themselves.

If Lonzo doesn't have an injury minutes restriction, NAW's minutes will get reduced and Kira may not play at all.

Until Lonzo is dealt.

Hey, I know this is crazy, but maybe his messed-up knee had something to do with his poor play recently?

I am definitely no Lonzo stan, but this board has gone overboard on the basis of a few games (as it always does).

It's not just the few games this year. It is also his horrible performance when it really mattered (playoff bubble) last season.

Lamelo is their PG, and honestly Lonzo would be brought in to make him happy. Rozier going out with Melo taking over the point will happen at one time or another this season imo.

If injury is what caused poor play I’m excited. But we will see

I'm going to Dust off my Ball Jersey in the back of my closet and wear it tonight. I just want to win!

Lonzo is on a minutes restriction. I saw someone remind me on Twitter than Aaron Nelson likes for people in those situations to start, because otherwise, they go into the game cold and have a higher risk of injury.
