When are we going to stop giving them exactly what they want?

So far, the right and the Trump supporters, of which I am one, have been unable to see the forest for the trees. What happened after the election leading up to 1/6 in Washington, was precisely what the left wanted and needed. It gave them the absolute power they have been looking for. And we went right along with it, following their pied pipers right through the Capitol doors. They now have a high ground to stand on and a media to broadcast everything they want. The actions after the election won them a majority in all but the Supreme Court, which may change if they add more justices.

I’m not capitulating to their BS or saying it’s over, but damnit, we have to be smarter. We can’t play this short term game of checkers when the real chess players took our fricking Queen last week. We have a fractured party and zero chance to win this thing back as long as we stay like we are. The seeds of sedition begin in the shadows, and we need to step back, get a real plan and then come out swinging.

Trump and his supporters are damned if they do, damned if they don’t. You’re naive to believe the media wouldn’t have made a story about something else to give them the cover they desire. It’s like you believe the media is acting in good faith and not total lying chicom bastards. Stop listening to the media outrage. As matter a fact, if the media says it’s A, assume it’s B

Oh I absolutely believe the media are lying sacks of shite. The issue is the majority of the country doesn’t think it to the degree we do. The majority are easily manipulated, and fall in line. We’re seeing it every day with the increased vilification of the right.

My point is we have accomplished two things for the left. We have solidified their base like never before, and we have split our own party in two thereby neutering our ability to win elections going forward. We need a new strategy in a bad way.

This.

We don’t need to go all militaristic on strategy but at this point they are letting us wipe ourselves out. Moral victories is the best we can do. They just took control. Period. We lost.

Live to fight another day. Find a candidate that can win. Mostly, let them destroy themselves for a couple years. They will frick it up.

SFP was pounding on this last week. That stupid rally gave them carte blanche to go thermonuclear on conservative social media and anything related to Trump.

All he needed was to lay low these last few weeks. The election challenges were fine and I don't have a problem with the kraken stuff. But, there was no point inviting all these people to DC just to end up upset that nothing positive was going to happen and to be played by agitators.

I don’t think we split our party in two , I think it’s more we have seen the party leaders for what they are . Not all of them mind you but some we suspected but more importantly some we didn’t. To draw a end to this out of GOP we may be in for a rough ride . The passage of polices that are detrimental to both the country and our way of life from the Democrats will get accomplished but to what extreme. We need to get people that are willing to put it on the line . Charisma , strength are great but also a backbone

I disagree with the entire bent of this post. There are two issues I see:

1. The left plays by different rules.
2. We agree to them.

That's it. What happened on Capitol Hill was peanuts compared to the previous seven months and the left defended it as Democracy the entire way. Stop accepting their guilt and shove their rules down their throat.

Metaphorically, of course.

I've been saying this... We're idiots when it comes to this stuff. We always fall quickly for their crap and the media helps make a big deal of it.

When people stop watching the media news and get the hell off of social media. Stop giving these low lives your money and attention.

I think if we give our virgin daughters to them and sacrifice our firstborn sons, they will allow us to live in private settlements. Is this the sort of solution you’re looking for?

It’s over and we lost. We just need to keep quiet and avoid antagonizing the left and hope that having total power will satisfy them. If you are too loud in opposition, they will destroy you. Freedom is dead and gone. This is the new reality.

I would hope we'd at least wait until they roll tanks before throwing down our arms and begging them to forgive us.

Trump capitulated when he went along with the COVID con which facilitated the mail in ballot scam.

Instead he was on tv every day perpetuating the Covid myth.

The fix was already in.

Mass mail-in voting was planned before a single Covid diagnosis was made in the world.

The house resolution to expel the members who objected to certifying the vote was drafted on January 5th. Before the “riot.”

You’re pretending we are negotiating in good faith. We aren’t. The faster you assume they are Satan, the closer to the truth you will be. And the better equipped to marshal a strategy against them.

Actually the November election put Biden in office. The Dems nearly lost the house. The Senate was up for grabs.

Events since the election went the Dem’s way because of Trump and the Dem’s strategy and the media’s help.

There is no Democrat mandate, but the events of 1/6 have been spun to give them the high ground and in true Democrat fashion they are taking full advantage. I believe they are overplaying their hand and we have every opportunity to take our time and expose the left as socialist and big government elitists.
