Absence of a DC/DL..

Does the absence of a DC/DL affect 2021 recruits at the moment?
We currently sit at #5 in recruiting rankings. Could we make a push to #2 or #3?
What positions are a need for us to round out to 25 recruits?

I think even if we don’t get Davis we need to dip into the portal for a plug and play starter at LB. That position is probably the one of most concern to me at the moment going into next year along with TE. Bugg Strong is going to be an animal though.

You need more than just Strong. We currently have 6-7 linebackers on the roster and a few of them have shown very little and have been inconsistent at best over their careers. If we can add another impact player at that position then they need to do it.

Given the absolutely *atrocious* record of our insiders, i'd rather look at it from a perspective of what we know for certain than trust what they say when it doesn't make a single bit of sense.
