Let the red states secede and just become trading partners. It’s probably the only way to avoid violence at this point.

Media perpetuates it but I would argue it actually starts in the universities.

Hed have to buck his party and restore confidence in elections. End mail-in ballot harvesting. Stick with trumps foreign policy plan. Not ramrod any firearm legislation. Come out and say he has no interest in adding states or packing the court and not do it.

Democrats could stop demonizing people.
Allow people to freely express their opinions without having to lose their careers, homes, businesses.
Media could try being somewhat honest and objective.

Make pornography and abortion illegal. That's where it all started. Don't think for a minute it didn't send an ominous message that seeped into the American consciousness - in a bad way - that explains the "anything goes" mentality you're seeing today. Downvote > lower right.
