Does this mean we’ll see less of him pawning late night infomercials? If so, count me I.

Not really a big deal. At 162 1/2 years old, he's lived a full life.

Some people are on a cycle of gaining and losing pounds. When you've been around as long as Larry ya start to gain and lose decades.

Neighbor took his parents out of assisted living at Thanksgiving for three days and they had to quarantine in their apartment for 14 days when they got back.

They just showed up at his house in an Uber Christmas Eve and said they weren’t going back until after New Years to make it worth their while.

There's one named Larry King's prostate. I haven't watched it.

He was the undisputed king (SWITDT?) of radio from the eighties through about the mid nineties. It was amazing who he could get to come on the radio in the middle of the night. Sinatra was a regular.

Fun fact: he was a successful Miami media figure in the sixties and early seventies until he pled guilty to embezzling from a business associate. He landed in Shreveport where he did PR for Louisiana Downs and was the voice of the Shreveport Steamer WFL team. He and Finebaum were there at the same time. I wonder if they hung out.

He admitted he had no sense for money and was a compulsive gambler. He went broke several times until he turned everything over to a financial manager who put him on a strict allowance.

Close. 8 times, but 2 of those were to the same woman.

He also had his youngest child when he was 66.

Get well Larry.

His show was very enjoyable back when CNN was interested in journalism.

At the beginning of Jim Hawthorne's career he was the play by play announcer for the USFL team in Shreveport and a then unknown Larry King, who was running the local race track, was his color commentator. Jim has some very funny Larry King stories that I have heard him tell often, like the time they got kicked out of the Liberty Bell Museum in Philadelphia because Larry lit up a cigarette in there.

I really, I mean, sincerely, thought he died ten or twelve years ago.
