Amazon sends employees to Walmart?

I had a drunken Amazon purchase the other day, a coffee/spice grinder. It arrived today. It was delivered in the personal car of the delivery person and was in a Walmart bag, saying they picked it up using curbside or the lockers at front of the store

Sounds to me like you could have bought it cheaper at Walmart.

Amazon does use independent drivers for some packages - that’s called Amazon Flex, but all of those items come directly from the Amazon facility in town. I have never seen anything drop shipped from Walmart that was ordered on Amazon.

You must have ordered it from Walmart. I received a product I bought from Walmart’s website on Black Friday in the same manner: delivered in a gray Walmart plastic bag by a guy in his car. I’m guessing they are having local stores fulfill and deliver some of the website orders.

It was nice of them to put yours in a plastic bag - they just threw my Black Friday switch games on the porch. No box, no bag - with the sticker from the delivery pick up stuck right to the case.
