It's been awhile since we've had a nostalgia thread, so I'll throw this one out there. Here's mine (and yes, I'm old as dirt):
Pontchartrain Beach - Used to love this place as a kid. If I remember right, it was like five bucks for a pay one price bracelet and you could ride all the rides you wanted. We would drive my dad crazy when after he got us each a bracelet, we proceeded to spend the lion's share of our time in the game room putting coins into the games.
Money Hill Campground: Another great place. Camping, boating, fishing, and when it got dark it was a great place for teenage guys to try (and sometime succeed) meeting up with unfamiliar girls.

Slick track go carts in metairie. It was just an oval track go cart place but they put water in the end making you spin out and wrecking wasn't frowned upon. They had batting cages too. Used to go all the time.
Putt putt in metairie. I like putt putt golf but the one in city park is always too crowded.

Movie Pitchers on Carrollton. The grocery store that was built there in the mid-90s somehow got them out of there and replaced them with part of their parking lot.
The 4 golf courses at City Park. I used to walk across the street and play the south course. Twilight fees in the summer were $3.
Crazy Johnny’s in Fat City. A filet and garlic potatoes for around $10.

I do miss this one, and have lots of memories going as a kid. Wouldn't be possible to operate it today for reasons I won't get into.

Century Plaza Mall in B’ham. I’m a child of the 80s so anyone from that time can relate to how awesome the mall was then.
What’s sad is Century Plaza closed years ago after the typical slow decline that’s happened to so many malls across the country. Right now it’s in the process of being demolished to make way for an Amazon Fulfillment Center. I had to visit the job site a little over a week ago and the sight of the building half torn down was almost enough to bring a tear to my eye.

Movie Pitchers was great!
Forgot about that. We saw all the odd Trey Parker movies there. Orgasmo, Baseketball, Canibal the musical.
Good drunken times.
