We scored 53 without half our weapons

We were without our top two receivers, our topTE, our two top running backs, playing with a true freshman QB we still scored 53. Only Alabama scored more on Ole Miss. Bright days ahead on offense.

One most plays last night, we lined up 2 true freshman WR, 1 sophomore WR, true freshman QB and true freshman RB. Crazy.

This season sucked so bad but with some perspective, if you had told me 4 years ago that LSU would average like 30+ points per game with mostly a freshman QB and have the worst season in decades I would’ve thought, “holy shite, we’re gonna score 30 on people?”

they needed 6 extra possessions to do it, but im not discounting it. Just putting it in perspective. Their defense was already terrible

Ole Miss’s defense is trash AND we had great field position all night because our defense forced 6 TOS.

Really well stated by the OP. It’s amazing what we managed to accomplish with a shell of a team the last two weeks.

Every offensive TD was at the hands of a true freshman. I don't care who you're playing, that's impressive. The defensive TD was was a true sophomore. I believe that everyone that recorded a stat on offense was a true freshman or sophomore. Again, impressive regardless if opponent.
