Are you saying that Zuppardos is more expensive like Whole Foods after the new store or are you saying they are Whole Foods bc they knocked down a dump and built a new store?

I don't know him personally and I like grumpy old people. He's just always seemed rude when I've been. It doesn't hurt my feelings. I still go there occasionally

In BR, surprisingly my favorite meatball poboy is at Phil's Oyster bar.

That and a schooner of draft beer is my go-to order there. No need to complicate things

Don’t want to bc fallguy is correct - he’s an arse hole

The food is not good enough to put up with the arse holery. It is good - but not that good

I like the pressed meatball at JED’s

The only place I’ve ever been that treats you like shite for nothing more than wanting to purchase something from his store. It’s terrible. If he doesn’t know you, he doesn’t want your business. I’ve grown up around ornery Italians my whole life. He’s not one, he is an a-hole.

I haven’t been around for a decade. Is Gorgonzola still the cheese of the month? That guy hated people 10 years ago, he must be straight old country contempt for humanity these days.

Exactly - I even got ornery Italian cousins (their mom is an aunt that married in )

My problem with him is that he overcharged me the two times I went in, and then treated me like I was the stupid one

Then again - at Anthony’s deli - when it was still on Florida and the old man was still alive - I went in to pick up some trays for a party and the old man rudely said ‘what are you doing here, you’re not Italian’ - I should’ve just walked out but his son apologized and I had crap to pick up for the party
