Guy murdered his parents and brother in 1988 and some genius thought this 49 year old murderer, who has been locked up for 32 years, should be released back into society.

What is the point of releasing this murderer? Where is he going to live? Who’s going to be paying for his food, housing, etc? How or why do you become a part of society after murdering your family?

Someone posted about this psycho on TD in 2017. TD

I’m sure he’ll be a fine upstanding member of society now . Just need a few decades of rehabilitation

This country has gotten ridiculously soft on crime the last 5 years or so.

We need to do what we did in the 90s to get crime back under control.

I want more people behind bars. Bitch all you want about it, it WORKED. It got trash off the streets of nyc and nola, and those cities saw growth and progress afterwards.

Unbelievable. Probably a reasonable chance that he kills again. If that happens, there needs to be some real accountability.

He should move in with his parents if you ask me.

This.

And liberal local/state officials are dumbfounded about why crime is up massive percentages after letting everyone out of prison ("rehabilitation", good time, and COVID) while bashing the police at every turn. More frickups on the street with less police proactivity is a horrible cocktail to swallow for the law abiding citizenry.

Or just do it the Russian way and work prisoners to death or just shoot them. Stops overcrowding. All these lifers need to go.

Look, he was only a danger to his family. And his family are gone so now he's a danger to nobody.

War on Drugs does not work. Non-violent folks arrested for possession going to jail just perpetuates their cycle of shite for life and gives them virtually no chance to be a contributing member of society. They go to psycho criminal school in jail and their record makes them unhireable.

But being savagely harsh on violent crime in the justice system is something I'm all about.

You realize crime was worse in the 80s and 90s than now right?

I think as long as you aren't related to him, you should be good.

Who released him?

Will the Saints honor him at the next home game?

And the cost has been devastating in terms of human suffering AND financial costs. A societies decency is based on the way it treats criminals.....it is entirely too easy to find ones self in prison for a long time for a minor offense in this country and we want to make it even easier....
