Yeah this will end up very bad for the DA. Prime example of the system not working the right way. Lazy DA office not wanting to keep a psychopath in jail.

Yeah, I remember him. Wasn't always nuts. Went to high school with him. House was only a bout a mile from mine.

Making it illegal to give a minor life without parole isn't the same thing as letting someone out with no parole after 32yrs. If they made him eligible for parole in 2020, I'd have no problem with that. It would then be the parole boards responsibility to determine if he should be released into society.

Exactly. I personally know a guy in his 7th year of incarceration on marijuana possession. Yes, it was his 3rd offense but still ridiculous.

There are plenty of people in prison for lesser charges that have served longer sentences.

Anyone who thinks he should be released should be forced to have him live in their home for a year.

Accept the consequences of your decisions.

Really? What do you think caused him to kill his parents and his brother in 1988?

Life sentence wouldn't matter, clowns like JBE let them out regardless. The death penalty fixes concerns about early release.

It was November of 1988 when family members say Chad Young murdered his father, Lucas, his mother, Rebecca, and his brother Chris Young. According to Eunice News, Young stabbed his mother and brother, then later shot his father who was on the phone with police. He then burned the house down with all three inside. Now family members say after almost 3 decades and a guilty plea on all 3 counts, Chad Young could have his charges reduced to manslaughter tomorrow morning.

What the frick is wrong with the justice system?

When this punk pleaded guilty to killing his family they should've hung him outside the courthouse that day. End of story.

So my last name is the same as the road this occurred on in Chataignier. Road is named after my father's family. My maternal grandmother passed away on December 1, 1988 when I was 9 years old.

I remember, vividly, the parlor room next to my grandmother's, at Ardoins in Eunice, having 3 caskets. I remember like it was yesterday my Dad explaining the story to me.

For sure, I couldn't imagine at the time, nor now, killing anyone much less those that have raised me in addition to my brother who was less than a year old at the time.

Dude should be beaten to death with a baseball bat not reproducing. His lawyer could use a good arse whipping as well.
