While it is more than likely canceled, there is nothing in that link that says it was canceled. It's just speculation.

I would not start any new trilogy for the big screen until at least another ten years
Take your time and do something you can really be proud of
I mean you made enough money from the Force Awakens to justify the entire purchase

Plus with Disney + you can do a lot of stories and series and keep the Star Wars fandom happy with that type of storytelling

Id make something that took place after the events of empire, but before return. From the point of view of regular people and a unfortunate life-hardened young, straight, white man who is strong with the force, but has no affiliation to the good or evil. He tries to do the right thing, but doesn't frick around. If you hurt his friends then you hurt his pride. He's gotta be a man, he can't let it slide. We'll go to Dathomir, Dagobah and Jakku. Questionable devil worship with nude nightsister flashbacks. Tons of murder. Tons. Lots of fighting, killing and all the good cussing. Screws a Twi'lek (Anna Kendrick). I'll push for an R rating. Just 1 film, for now.

I just need the $200m to get it rolling.

Id include a deleted scene on the 4k where guys were throwing chain to build the death star. Using an r2 unit as a grill.

I don’t want to see an R rated Star Wars film.

I want an epic KOTOR series that basically follows the plots of the first two games then goes off in the third season into where the canceled third game would have gone with the General finding Revan and the true Sith homeworld. I would want this series to be less serial and “quest of the week” than the Mandalorian, and instead be more dramatic and mystery based.

I would also time the releases of each season with that of the release of remakes of each of the KOTOR games (a la FFVII remake) for the latest gen system.

Now, if I had my other wish, I would sorta do a redo on the sequel trilogy starting with TLJ. I think there’s a lot of pieces of a great movie in there, so with reshoots, deleting scenes, re-ordering of scenes, and a few new scenes, we can make it truly special. I would nearly completely redo Episode 9, keeping almost nothing. There would be a completely new villain, very different themes, etc.

I would explain the two different movies as just alternate timelines caused by a “wound in the force”. You set this up with KOTOR and with the Ashoka movie or series that helps bridge the gap between The Mandalorian and the Sequel trilogy.

I stand by it.

He is very talented, but extremely egotistical.

His flaw with TLJ, is he tried to make it his. . .rather than a component of an established greater whole.

He wanted Rian's Luke, not SW Luke
He wanted Rian's Force, not the established Force
He wanted it to be his, because he is the genius, and we all needed to know it was him.

Give him his own Trilogy, he then can tell a story that is coherent. . .because everyone will know he did it all, not just the middle leg of the relay.

I do not think that word means what you think it means.

He crushed the sequels with TLJ. But it's been funny to watch Ruin continue to claim he's got a trilogy coming out.

I mean it doesn't have to be a full ten years but that's not a bad idea. The main thing is if you're going to do a trilogy again, fricking plan it out from the beginning. Don't do this stupid reactionary crap to fans that we saw with each of these latest films.

Wow.

Not only do you have make poor choices like a real sky screamer at the ballot box but you also have stupid opinions like thinking Rian Johnson is a good director for Star Wars and he would make a good trilogy.

Just further proof that most if not all LOLbertarians are morons.

You're the one that thinks frenchman Rian Johnson is a good Star Wars director.

You're the one with the retarded opinion here, not me.

Looper was pretty shitty. Some on here like it because it stars their wooden prince, JGL. Knives out was okay but it was basically just a Clue ripoff.

And obviously, he's too much of a pussy to stand up to the suits who wanted it to be SJW porn, not that this was the real problem. The real problem was that it was scatterbrained and made no sense, while destroying characters and lore that was interesting and could have been more beneficial to the story.

He's just not very good, IMO.
