Despite what many may believe, O knows he has to turn it around if he wants to stay at LSU long term, but after last season, I think he's earned that opportunity! Remember, he did BEAT Alabama!
Following up an NC with what may be the worst season in LSU potentially in 20 or more years means he has NOT earner that opportunity. He squandered it.
If the team just looked young and was losing to more talented teams, that would be one thing. This team is getting embarrassed and has 3 wins against teams that are a combined 5-22 with two of those teams firing their head coach already.
This is atrociously bad given MSU has thrown 6 TDs in 7 games outside of LSU compared to 6 alone vs LSU.
It's even worse when you take into account the COVID issues faced by Mizzou and other teams LSU faced.

Also, LSU losses in 1998 were by: 1, 12, 3, 6 (OT), 6, 3, 27.
Average loss margin was 8.28 points
1999? 34, 1, 21, 26, 1, 19, 6, 13
Average of 15.13 points
2020? So far: 10, 4, 37, 13, 38
Average of 20.4 points
So LSU's losses this season are on average by 20+ points, which is worse than 1998 and 1999! Think about that.

I must have missed those 2 trips the SEC championship.

Why do you keep posting this?
Nobody is hiring randy fricking Shannon.
The token black coach hire failed. Everybody knows it.

So I think most os would agree that the one good hire Orgeron made was Brady.
It wasn't like Orgeron scored the country to find the best person to install a speed offense and call plays. The LSU staff went to the Saints' offensive staff for advice, and Brady was the one who made the presentation. Orgeron and Ensminger were so impressed, they hired him.
Brady absolutely fell in Orgeron's lap. Every other hire, where he had to actually find the best person for the position, the hire has been lazy and disastrous. Even Busch was Aranda's choice, and Faulk was already on staff.

He used all of his credit earned last season. He used half of it on Miss St and the other half on Missouri. He's in the red right now due to the whippings Auburn and Bama gave us.

Its amazing. We just had this exact freaking discussion when no one wanted to fire Les while a few of us screamed from the rooftops that winning 8 games a year at LSU doesn’t take a Vince Lombardi.

So he's what? 1-6 for Hiring Capability?
I guess "Yay!"
And I ask again, what the heck is the shadow staff up to?

Eh. Miles was consistently Top 10 outside of maybe 2 years and he had multiple Top 5 classes. Not that hard.

I didn’t read when I saw how long it was
Bottom line is we suck and the coaches we have now are not developing players.
