I understand the frustration with the football team (I'm right there with you), but sometimes a knee jerk reaction could put you in a worse spot than before. I agree he needs to go if he's found to have known information about the physical/sexual abuse and did not report it - period. On the flip side, I think we can all agree that O has done a lot of good for LSU also.

O contributions:
Hired Brady
Recruited grad transfers Burrow and Tracy to LSU
Top 5 recruiting classes last two seasons (extremely hard to do)
Poised to reel in another top 5 class this year
Led LSU to perfect season/national championship
Recorded one of greatest college football seasons in all of college football history
Beat ALABAMA!
An NFL record 14 players drafted
Burrow wins Heisman, Johnny Unitas, Walter Camp, Davey O'Brien, Manning Award, Maxwell and AP Player of the year
Chase wins Biletnikoff
Grant wins Jim Thorpe
Top OL - Jim Moore Award
O also made LSU a nationwide brand
O landed top rated players from across the country - something LSU has never done
He sold LSU everywhere he went with his signature "Geaux Tigers" to end every interview. Guess what, now just about all the coaches end their interviews the same way
Lastly, he's from Louisiana and loves LSU

My point is it's easy to put others down when things are going bad, but that's when you also have to take a step back and also look at the overall picture before you make a program defining decision. Does he need to make some big coaching changes during the offseason, yes! However, I think he deserves the opportunity to get the program back on the right track. We can all agree he played a big part in giving all of us the greatest LSU football season in history! We have memories that will be with us forever!

Despite what many may believe, O knows he has to turn it around if he wants to stay at LSU long term, but after last season, I think he's earned that opportunity! Remember, he did BEAT Alabama!

Don’t get much worse than 3-7 baw

That’s our worst record in like 20 years by far

This isn’t Vanderbilt. It’s unacceptable at LSU

Yesterday I’d Have said you’re crazy but today a resourceful friend of mine said the name Randy Shannon is being mentioned to replace him. If that happens get ready for the Hallman days again.

He'll have another year to try and turn it around. He wont be fired after this season. I hope he can take us back to where we were last year.

That's my point exactly. If we hire Shannon, he will show us what the bottom of the barrel really looks like!

It can not get any worse. At all. We won’t win another game, have a bowl ban, have lost scholarships, are even losing players who take up scholarships. LSU has become a laughing stock less than a year from winning a title

Jerry Dinardo was 26-9 in 3 yrs, finishing 3rd, 1st, 1st in west, before epic failure!

Rohan Davey said Wednesday, this feels exactly like Dinardo 1999, not only around B.R. but as a program in general.

You are right, it could get worse. Like next week on early signing day. Or if we let O continue to burn this program to the ground it could get worse next year. But we are pretty close to the bottom right now.
