Massive spikes in China Virus! New second wave...talking point

Just went to get a china virus test to make sure I was safe to visit with family over Thanksgiving. The line was long and after signing up I have to return in 2.5 hours because of everyone else wanting testing.
That made me realize the new democrat talking point of so many new cases and the media frenzy to report it is probably just people getting tested for Thanksgiving.

Why bother getting tested (unless you have symptoms). If you don’t currently have the virus, All the test will show is that you are negative at the moment of testing, doesn’t mean you’ll be negative by the time you visit your family.
It’s really pointless for people who have no symptoms to get tested.

There is 100% no point in getting tested a week before you visit family unless you plan to live inside a bubble until then
