I’m trying to find some comfortable underwear other than boxers. I have a few pair of long underwear...not whitie tighties!

Calvin Klein.

But I only buy 30 yr old, new, in packaged ones that strangers find at garage sales and sell on EBay for like $70 bucks a pair.

Duluth buck naked are the most comfortable underwear I've owned. No, I'm not a plumber either.

Ex Officio. I have tried Duluth trading and suspect most fans of that brand have never tried ex officio.

I wear adidas compression boxers. Extremely comfortable, especially in the summer.

Saxx.

I'm personally growing a liking for shorts with built-in liners though (Lululemon).

I've tried a lot of underwear. Once you move to boxerbriefs from boxers, the next step is separate pouch underwear. It's done in a lot of different ways. No-one does this better than David Archy. Instead of sewing in a separate pocket like some or putting in "dividers" like Saxx, they simply shape the underwear so that the fabric pulls snug between your nads and your thigh. Their micro modal underwear ( Amazon LINK) is long enough not to creep up and are amazingly comfortable in a way that you just won't understand if you think Ex Officio or any other regular boxer briefs are good enough and haven't tried anything with separate pouches.

I like Tommy John. Exofficio are also pretty solid.
