Looking for recommendations on kayak fishing on Calcasieu lake

I have been a fisherman all my life and have had multiple bass boats. But, due to buying son a truck (and insurance!!) I had to sell said boat. I recently purchased a peddle kayak and looking for places to launch and fish for trout and reds in Calcasieu lake. Thanks and any help much appreciated.

I have honey bees going into bottom of my storage shed. They are going into small hole at the bottom where the wood meets the slab. I need information or contact on someone that can help! They are probably inside the walls. TIA
What to plant under Oak Tree?

I just moved into a house with a hugh oak tree in the front yard. It's almost all dirt and creates a massive dust storm when I mow. What can I plant for ground cover that will grow and create a nice green area? Also, when it rains I have alot of runoff of dirt. TIA

yep, he was my favorite. My dad would make me come watch kickoff when I was a kid. He would tell me to watch this SOB!! He would literally launch himself at someone on Kickoff! Obvious inspiration behind my screen name. It's one of the things that makes LSU my passion now.

I am cooking a brisket this weekend, but I am cooking it indoors. I have smoked a couple outside and they were ok. I am looking for a good recipe, or technique for cooking one in the oven. Any temps, time, tips, or techniques greatly appreciated.

I have made my own roux for years. I am making a gumbo this weekend and crunches for time. I have used Ma’am PaPaul’s in box before and it was ok. I haven’t used the roux in jar before. Any insight or suggestions greatly appreciated.

I recently moved to central part of state. The closest spec and red fishing for me now is prob Big Lake. Where is the best boat launch, and is the north or south end better?
I have fished the Dularge area for years, but looking to learn this lake. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I am moving to home that has Vivint and it is negotiable. Is it worth it? What are other options for a good home security system? Central part of the state. Looking to pay about $40-$50 on monthly monitoring. Need opinions.
