Don’t blame you, it’s way easier for me to find it since I can just go to my threads started

Correct, if they cannot agree on a PTBNL then the Sox will send the Yankees cash in return

Infielder Marcus Semien is in agreement with the Toronto Blue Jays on a one-year, $18 million contract, a source familiar with the deal tells ESPN.

My gawd Blue Jays offense is stacked. Pitching sucks but they might score a billion runs. Semien's 2019 looks like an anomaly but even if he reverts to his norms, he's not a total black hole.

Blue Jay's have improved their bullpen and offense, they will probably add a 2nd tier pitcher and hope Ray bounces back

Where is he going to play? Slide him or Bichette to third and have Vladdy DH or play 1st?
That’s a deep lineup

Wainwright back to Cardinals, 1 year 8M.

I didn't think he would come back with all the younger and cheaper pitchers on the roster.

Cardinals-Rockies talking Arenado trade for about 7th time
quote:
A trade of Nolan Arenado finally might be coming into focus.
The Cardinals are in discussions with the Rockies about a deal that would bring the five-time All-Star third baseman to St. Louis, according to major-league sources. No deal appears close, and the other players who might be involved are not known.
Arenado, 29, likely would waive his no-trade clause to join the Cardinals, and perhaps agree to push back his right to opt out after the 2021 season. The Rockies, to escape his $199 million guarantee over the next six seasons, almost certainly would absorb at least one high-priced veteran from the Cardinals while also receiving prospects in the deal.

Matt Carpenter and/or Dexter Fowler

Yeah, Carpenter makes the most sense money and position wise.
Posted on 1/28/21 at 11:49 pm to Lsuhoohoo
I think they both have no trade protection.

Non factor for Arenado, Cards are on his list he'd waive for. The hold up the previous discussions is his after 2021 opt out. He'd have to push that back a few years.
Carpenter said last year he wouldn't stand in the way of a trade as he wants what is best for the org. Could have been media fluff but idk, Carp seems like that kinda guy.

But Carpenter said that while his heart would always be with the Cardinals organization, he “wouldn’t stand in the way of doing what (he) thought was best for the organization”, implying he would waive his no-trade clause if the Cardinals requested it.
