Two things to add:
On Kate’s fate... I’m pretty sure I remember a flash forward last season and Kate signed her name and she signed it Kate Pearson and not her married name. I took that they divorced in the future from that.
On Kevin/Sophie
The creator or the show always said he wouldn’t let Kevin be w Madison because that’s his wife IRL, but obviously they did... I see Kevin and Madison coming to an amicable split when they realize together that they don’t really love each other, they love their kids and the idea of being a family.
I think there’s a real possibility Kevin doesn’t end up with Sophie or Madison, and it’s either someone new or he is just a single father with a house to fit his whole fam.
While I want Kevin and Sophie to get back together, I think it could be a situation where their time has passed and just never lined back up.

Toby has suffered depression on and off throughout his life. I don't think Kate's absence from flash forwards means anything other than they want us to wonder if she's alive and married to Toby. The flash forwards give away some info, but really very little as they are mostly done in a way that you can read things however you want.

I'm in a TIU FB fan group. It's pretty much 50/50 Sophie/Madison. I'm forever Team Sophie. I still find Madison whiny and most of all, I just don't see them even a tiny bit in love.

Yep. Kevin's way of coping with anything had been booze. He was off the booze and desperately needed something/someone after Sophie's mom's funeral. Madison was equally needy and convenient. It's the only reason it happened. Otherwise, he never would have slept with Kate's friend.

She did, but we've already passed that time on the show. It was the Big 3's 40'th birthday with pregnant Madison. It's exactly where this current season picked up as each year always starts with their birthday.
I wonder what they'll do next season since it's not starting till 2022?

Yeah, In real life, Madison is married to "This Is Us" writer and creator Dan Fogelman. They welcomed a son, Benjamin, in 2020.

Kinda wanna be pissed off at kate because kate but Toby completely botched revealing that San Francisco job thing to her. Why on earth drop that “I gotta travel 3 days a week” bomb NOW. Wait till later
And Kev and Randall way to literally fracture your relationship over your mom’s alzheimers treatment only to suddenly forget she has alzheimers and leave her alone IN TEARS in a strange unfamiliar place
And who couldn’t have seen the dress thing coming. They better never screw with Annie.

Wow.
I really liked the finale.
Those last 10 minutes, when Madison went to Kevin’s hotel room…. That was a good as this show has been in a long time in my opinion.
Madison trying to get Kevin to realize it’s over and Kevin trying to save it and keep it all together . Damn that was so good .
