Anyone else struggle with death perception as you get older?

When I was younger had 20/20 vision and could spot a dime clearly from a mile away. Things were simpler then. Did we have issues? Yes. Did people pass away all of the sudden sometimes? Yes. But did we cry and bitch about it? Again. YES.
as I've gotten older it's been more difficult to perceive death the closer people get to you and die the farther off they seem. I saw it much clearer back when.

I'd rather not see death everywhere.

I no longer struggle with death perception. I'm 35 and have a significant heart issue that was recently diagnosed. It's funny and weird how my perception of death has changed in the last month. I used to be afraid to die but I'm no longer afraid of death itself. I've accepted that my heart will probably be what eventually kills me assuming there's no freak accident of some type. If it's my time and the good Lord wants me, then that's what's meant to be. I'm terrified of leaving my wife and young kids, though, and that's what scares the living shite out of me.

What in the world are you on? Death does not equal depth. This has got to be a stoner conversation.

Death is certain, life is not
