I ended up moving a reservation a day back and flying into New Orleans. No chance I was gonna drive from Houston with all the construction and roads on Wednesday.

Rather wait it out a day and come in Thursday. Gonna get an extra day to ski lol

Any reports from Sunday/Monday in Steamboat/Park City/Summit County? How are the crowds and lift wait times?

We saw 0 crowds or traffic in Summit County on Sunday, way less than typical for a Sunday

Summit (Breck) isn’t crowded during the week. Great conditions.

Skied at PC/Canyons a few days ago and Deer Valley last 3 days. Getting up the mountain at PC and Canyons took 20-30 mins on the initial lift lines. Once on the mountain, just skied around to find smaller lines.

DV was less crowded but still lines on certain lifts.

Looks like you'll time it well! Storm arriving Thursday evening and sticking around through the weekend.

At Breck now and the crowds are only at the bases of Peak 8 and 9. Once on the mountain it’s pretty wide open. We are staying steps from the Snowflaké lift so it’s been really easy to get up on the mountain.

*it dumped snow today from 11:30 on. Still was dumping when I came in at 3:30.

Breck was packed Sat-Mon but that is to be expected for Presidents’ Day weekend. Today was awesome and it dumped all afternoon. The rest of the week will be limited crowds.

Tahoe was classic today.
We got to the lift at 8:30 and I waited around in a t shirt until they let us through at 8:50. It was sunny and 26, but felt like 55!

Awesome day at the boat. Nice powder at sunshine and sundown early. Getting a good bit this evening so tomorrow will be just as good or better if it keeps falling

Is early or mid April to late to ski Co? Looking for a long weekend with my son around 4/8.

You should be fine almost everywhere early April, mid April could get dicey at some resorts. Loveland and A Basin will probably be open through May though

Have they already announced when they're closing? Seems pretty early. That'd also be an extremely long season for Breck given the overall weak snowfall this year.
