Montrose is very methy right now. I’m not sure what’s going on other than corona but the police presence from summit out 70 west is the most aggressive anywhere in the state. Telluride is beautiful but small town Colorado can be interesting if you aren’t rich.

We have toyed with the idea of moving to Denver. I feel like this is a better trade off. You still have a big city with plenty of things to do, but you’re only 90 minutes from Vail.

I couldn’t imagine being stuck in a town with Ski Bums all year long.

She doesn't have to join in.

So you've never been to the Denver area? Not much different.

It's mega expensive like most desirable areas of Colorado. That's what will always keep me from living there at this point.

I don’t find Colorado to be expensive at all. Property taxes are like 4th lowest in the country, energy is fairly cheap, and insurances are very low. Some resort type places have you competing with second home people from wealthy places but the front range isn’t crazy expensive.

The median home price in Denver is like 500k. That's expensive to me.

Colorado Springs is more affordable I suppose.

That place is incredible. Montrose is one of my favorite places to vacation for a long weekend. Lot's to do. It is a very mild climate. The mountains get a ton of snow but Montrose and the surrounding area do not. It is an ideal place to live in CO.

If you have a legitimate job offer in Telliride, Colorado that will allow you to have a decent standard of living, why are you even asking this question ?
Go and don’t look back !!!!!

I almost went to CO from New Orleans when I was a pharmacist. Always wondered how that would have turned out. Instead, I went to law school in the Northeast.

I say go for it. You can always move back.

The problem is they want to control your life.

I live in a Dem stronghold but its not "progressive" its still old school liberal. But the progs are doing their best to destroy this place.

If they had their way, there would be no private indistry.

Telluride isn't some huge den of beatnik face painters. The irrational fear some have here that it's impossible to live and let live around others that may not chew Red Man and piss off a porch is absurd.

The problem is the others that don't follow this. They tend to be progressives.
