Can those that have treated COVID from home chime in, please?

Hey everyone, I want to start out by saying I’m only making another COVID thread out of necessity. I’ve been quarantined outside of the country with a wife and little one but we’ve made the decision to break it and move on with our lives. We just want to be prepared for the realistic chance that we do end up catching it, and that we’re most likely going to be like most everyone else— crappy while we have it, but in the grand scheme of things, just fine.
For those who have had it and treated it from home, could you please share the daily regimen that worked for yall?
Serious replies appreciated, because we are not in the States and I’m genuinely looking for advice. Thanks in advance

For me personally, I took Tylenol every six hours while I had a fever and drank a lot of Gatorade to stay hydrated. Also keep some cough drops handy. Other than that, just lots of rest. If any of you have Asthma, make sure you have your medications for that, as I found COVID to aggravate my asthma.
My symptoms were fairly mild.

Aceaphtaphine... I can't spell... That's all I took...
Fear was the worst part about it... scared of respiratory issues that never happened..
But my sense of taste went away.
The flu was worse.

I appreciate the responses I suspect fear is the only truly dangerous part about this virus for the vast majority. It is good to hear from some of the people that went through it though.

High dose C, zinc (50mg), D (5,000iu is likely sufficient), 325mg aspirin daily, famotadine (pepcid), and maybe a pack of dexamethasone if you have any way of getting it there. Perhaps you could do a televisit with your PCP here and see if they have any ideas on how to obtain.
And of course, stay hydrated. Water, Gatorade, whatever. This regimen works on most colds, minus the aspirin, Pepcid and steroid.

Well knowing where you are located is about 99% of the answer here.
Because you and your family are statistically unlikely to experience symptoms that require any care beyond rest, hydration, and OTC medication.

You’re going to break a quarantine order in what country?
I’d suggest a few episodes of Locked Up Abroad before “going on with your lives”.

I was exposed on 8/10 ran fever on 8/13.
1st night 101.4 fever felt fine
three days low grade fever 99.4-100.6
Felt fine otherwise
Day 4&5 intense hip and leg pain. Felt like I was getting a cortisone site that never ended. Advil relieves some of the pain. Felt fine otherwise
Day 7 lost taste and smell that lasted another 7 days.
Had a 99.5 fever on day 8 went away. By day 9 I was extremely tired and minor activities raised my heart rate over 100. But O2 levels were normal
Another fever on day 10 and a day of coughing on day 11.
Taste and smell back on day 14. And started feeling better
Worst part was not know what to expect and if/when do I really get sick and can’t breathe. Never had breathing issues.
Still have lingering effects as goin up and down stairs I am winded.
45, 6-2 204. Healthy otherwise b

If you aren’t old, fat, or diabetic then odds are very high that your symptoms will be mild and treated with regular over the counter meds. If you have Tylenol for fever or body aches and some cough syrup, thats probably all you would need. Worst part for me was just having to stay home in quarantine for 2 weeks. I felt ok for all but a few hours one night with fever and being sluggish the next day. Didnt have Tylenol in the house when fever started but by time I had gotten meds dropped off the next morning, I didnt need it anymore

Are you for real or is this an elaborate troll. Use some common sense and your and your family are unlikely to get it. If you do, and you’re not 80 or in extremely poor health, the overwhelming odds are that you won’t be any sicker than a normal cold, maybe the actual flu if you have a bad case.
