I just read that Austin, TX prohibits vent free gas logs.
They are only one of the most efficient ways to heat a home.
It got me to thinking about what other stupid controls/ limitations are put on residents of cities.

I am not really asking about the temporary restrictions due to Covid related issues, but just general restrictions, etc.

Nashville reporting. Our tyrannical Mayor was restricted from telling the fricking truth about the numbers from bars & restaurants.

It is efficient, I will give you that, but I hate it! Propane, anyway. We had ventless propane for a couple of winters, and I don't ever want it again.

We don't have ridiculous restrictions where I live. The citizens in my town believe in freedom.

Only thing I can think of is the tight trash restrictions due to bears. They crack down pretty hard on violators.
