Take out last year, and we’d be talking about Brennan being the best LSU QB ever

Nobody is upset at Brennan anymore. He’s been balling out

And so has Marshall

I wouldn’t go that far. We were like 0-10 on 3rd down conversions yesterday. He did do well in other areas though.

Really, what other LSU QB, outside of Burrow, was on pace for a 50+ TD, 5000 yard season (with a full schedule)

I’ll hang up and listen

0-10 and couldn’t get in the endzone at the end. That was mostly poor play calling though.

What does this have to do with the reading comprehension of this thread?

I said we would be discussing this as a possibility AT THIS POINT

first three starts shatter anything any other QB outside of Burrow last year has ever done

On the flip side, Brennan didn’t start the season against 3 candy arse OOC cream puffs. He went straight into SEC play

Brennan is getting better every game...::anybody criticizing him at this point is a bitch. I have confidence he will improve because he has already shown it....

our offense has changed from past years. We pass more now. I’ll take Bert Jones and Tommy Hodson over Myles Brennan.

numbers are good, but let’s wait until we play a decen5 team. Our 3 opponents thus far have been dogs - which makes our 1-2 record even more appalling.

Brennan made some very impressive throws while pressured yesterday; my concerns from game 1 are gone. He clearly has the potential.

Not really. He is 1-2 as a starter with a lot of shite before. Tommy Hodson was a RS freshman that was mobile in a shitty offense and was better by a mile. You can’t use numbers only. Look at why Burrow was so effective. HE LED THE NATION IN 3Rd down percentage. The third down conversions or lack thereof is gonna be death to this team.

. Here is the culture issue other threads have been discussing. Why are they bitches? Are you saying his situational awareness is where it should be? How about third down percentage? His inability to really make a first down with his legs?
How about reading the defense and checking down to a different play?

He can’t work from under center. Criticizing someone does not make them a “bitch”. That is a loser mentality when people say things like that. Criticism should be used as fuel by athletes. Y’all call statements like you made a “snowflake” mentality And I agree.

numbers are meaningless to be honest unless all the critical numbers are good. See Detroit lions Matthew Stafford’s entire career.

The WRs have dropped a lot of passes this year. They could contribute to the lack of 3rd down efficiency.

Sorry but being something like 7-39 or whatever it is on third down this year doesn’t help the Qb’s cause, he’s got to convert. I saw a number of passes out of the reach and behind receivers and running back. While he is not the problem, he’s got to solve that.
