5-38 or whatever the numbers are for the 2 losses against two very bad defenses is not on the WRs only. A lot is a stretch

On the flip side, Brennan didn’t start the season against 3 candy arse OOC cream puffs. He went straight into SEC play

Lol. Miss St, Vandy, and Missouri. Hardly the murder row of SEC teams this year.

The third down conversions or lack thereof is gonna be death to this team

I'll agree with you however, it's the defense's ability to not stop the other team on 3rd down that's gonna be the death of us.

The 3rd down play calls were bad. Some drops on 3rd down, including Marshall. The running game was absent and not an option, so the defense knew it was pass. And he did convert a 4th down to keep a drive going after one of those 3rd downs. At this point LSU’s best player is Terrence Marshall and the second best is Myles Brennan. Stingley wasn’t Stingley yesterday, maybe he was hurt, but lol that last missed tackle was embarrassing

Our first three games were supposed to be UTSA, Texas, and Rice. Don’t let the Texas game fool you into thinking that’s a more difficult schedule.

They are going to continue to make all these excuses. Just ignore them. It’s never on the coaches and always on the players. Coaches coach players to make plays. If the players don’t make the plays, then it must be the player, right? Wrong. If the players don’t make the plays, it is the responsibility of the coach to either coach them up or pull them from the game. Don’t tell me there isn’t talent on this team that was equivalent to the two and three star players on Missouri’s staff team. How about Mississippi State? Or Vandy? LSU’s bench players are equally talented as their starting players.

With our defense we will be in enough shootouts to boost Brennan’s stats even more. If he stays healthy he’ll put up the 2nd best statistical season for an LSU qb

Really, what other LSU QB, outside of Burrow, was on pace for a 50+ TD, 5000 yard season (with a full schedule) I’ll hang up and listen

Moo state at home
Vandy
Mizzou

Terrible defenses all around. No offense, but he hasn’t faced a defense with a pulse yet. Let’s see what he does against Florida.

Look at why Burrow was so effective. HE LED THE NATION IN 3Rd down percentage.

Why would I do that? I specifically said OUTSIDE of last year

The 0 for 10 3rd down fixation is based on clowns that crapped on Brennan after game one and now, that's all they have left to bitch about. Nevermind that Brennan and Marshall kept us in the game.

Third down efficiency or lack there of largely comes from the plays that were run on 1st and 2nd and how effective they were. In other words, third and one is easier to convert than third and 8. To put that all on the QB is ignorant.

Keep in mind, If we take out 2019, Danny Etling beat out Myles in 2018 and the offense wasn't as prolific in 2018 as it was in 2019. So Myles wouldn't have the same offense passing game now if it wasn't for 2019. Joe Brady lit a fire in the 2019 offense compare to the subpar offense in 2018.
