For less than $60 I got the three LSU decanters

For less than $50 I got this Harley Davidson leather jacket

For five dollars I got the Batman bat cave still in the box

For less than $50 I got a ton of Disney Christmas stuff in video games

They’re still doing this with half the city out of power? I bet that batcave is going to be a sick flip.

Not only are the doing it in the aftermath of a hurricane, they apparently started it well before dawn. The dedication of garage sale folk is much stronger than I ever realized.

do you respect start times or you one of the ones who's there an hour before opening trying to buy stuff before everyone else?

Maybe the other folks pulled their stuff in due to the passing hurricane, and are going to wait until the light of day to display it

Im sure you've answered this before but when you see items you like do you just get on your phone right there and see what they go for on ebay? How do you have an idea on what you can sell a junky looking thing for?

We had a garage sale a month or so ago when we moved. It was mostly home decorations and holiday stuff. Had one show up the day before insisting that it was for Sat., not Sun. My wife said her initial FB post might have caused some confusion, so she gave the lady some free stuff to appease her. The next day, surprisingly, people didn’t show up as early as I expected - maybe 20-30 minutes early. But we also had a full dumpster bag at the end of the driveway, and they were going through that - in addition to digging through our garbage cans.

You've denied it, but I'm certain your house has rooms filled with shite that smells musty and old.

Depends on the item and cost. The decanters above, I about ripped my pocket off trying to get my wallet out for $20 a piece (got them less than that actually).
All the Disney Christmas stuff, I looked up a couple of them, because they range from cheap crap to rare.
I think those were only things I looked up. If something is a dollar, I’m not going to look it up, I’ll chance it.
I spent exactly $180 today.

Correction:
I looked up the Harley jacket but couldn’t find it.
