Read the agreement.
It honestly wouldn’t surprise me if there was a rule against this.
We aren’t allowed to have any signs in our windows per HOA rules. The one exception would be a single “For Sale” sign, if the unit is for sale.
That being said, you have an issue of selective enforcement, if others are violating the rule, and did not receive a similar email.
If this is the case, simply send them a clear letter spelling out your issue. Obviously, the letter coming from a lawyer is more effective. They won’t frick with you. You’ll either get to keep your sign, or the others will disappear.

In all fairness maybe the pro-Biden tenants got the same letter

That's under the Patio and Balcony portion. My sign is in a window. It might encompass the entire apartment though.

It depends on whether you like living in your apartment.

Respond with photos of Biden signs and say you will remove your when you have proof that the same notice has been sent to them...and "your word" is not valid in this case.

Seems like this is an open and shut case.

Not really. It specifically mentions patios, walkways, and breezeways. It never says anything about windows, an argument could be made for it being ok in the window

The lease is vague and open for discussion. I could understand where your landlord is coming from.
I’d respond to their notice and tell them that since it’s their policy to have no political signs visible from an apartment that you will take yours down. I’d note that others have political signs too and that you expect those to also be taken down. If they don’t force the others to take their signs down then it’s obvious that you are being discriminated against.

Ask to look at the rental agreement.

Probably BUT you can at least insist on other signs being removed.

Simply send them an email questioning whether those with signs supporting other candidates were requested to remove those as well.
They may have sent such requests.

If you want to make a stand on this hill, remember the covid pandemic is breaking the handle off in these apartment owners/managers. They can't evict tenants for failure to pay rent, so a lot of them simply aren't paying rent.
Assuming you're putting a rent check in the mail every month, I doubt they will put up a fuss beyond the form letter you received.
My apartment complex has a strict no grills on your private balcony or patio rule, which they strictly enforced. There were community grills for everyone to use at the swimming pool. But during Covid, they locked all the gates to the pool area. Now, dozens of my neighbors have Weber grills on their balconies or porches. The apartment told them to get rid of them and they all responded f--k you, I'm grilling. The apartment complex folded (eventhough this is a genuine fire hazard). They are desperate for rent checks.

Snap pics of other apartments displaying Biden signs. Send to office.
Agree to remove Trump sign if all other political signs are removed as well.
Or...
Find yourself a non-woke MAGA neighborhood to inhabit.

Good luck with that, did not realize till now you were a teenage female.
OP you agreed to it and are living on their property, take it down THEN raise hell about the other signs if you wish. At no point would I advise making demands or setting conditions, I would have you removed for that alone.

Suggest some nice Trump Drapes or blinds.
Is there any provision stating your blinds must be a single color?
Can easily just stencil and paint "Trump" on your blinds, close them and open them at will to send your message.
The blinds are inside your apartment, not on your patio or breezeway.
Exploit the loophole.

I’d start by reading your leasing agreement and finding out if it’s allowed or not. If allowed, lawyer up baw

Give it a few days and see if the Biden signs start coming down. If not, I'd ignore the notice until they sent a communication with some teeth on it. At that point, you can re-evaluate and figure out your next step in accordance with your own appetites.
