I think Brennan has the ability to be a really solid quarterback if the O-line gets it’s shite together and he can settle in. There is only one Burrow and we aren’t likely to see that here anytime soon if ever.

Mettenberger. But I still think Brennan will be respectable this year.

Brennan seemed to refuse to make decisions at all

He did chunk that ball toward Gilbert and the other WR in the end zone on that blitz. It might have been a risk, but he did give his playmakers a chance to get it rather than taking a long sack and forcing a field goal.

Absolutely. I agree. Lots of reasons that what happened Sat was a total fail. Just saying, he is a veteran qb that appears to have found a great fit for his skill set in Leach’s air raid. Whether they can torch other teams like that remains to be seen.

You think Myles is more mobile than Mett?

I’m really undecided about that play. At first I thought he was throwing a 50/50 ball while getting flattened and it worked out great. After watching replay I’m not sure if he wasn’t just chunking it without a clue. Either way, it worked so it falls in the category of “No! No No! Yes!!”

I think Myles looked better in his first game as a starter than Mettenberger did in his.

If Brennan's mobility is going to be what we saw yesterday, you might as well take Mett's arm

Pretty sure he was trying to chunk it out of the endzone

Mettenberger was a great imitation of Stonehenge, he makes MB look like a track star. Ask after MB has at least 6 games of starting experience as at least ZM had a full year of starting even if at a lower level.

That’s the 3rd option! Ha. You may be correct.

Mett played and bounced around the league (albeit briefly); Brennan will not sniff an open tryout.

QB is a full time job

Hopefully Brennan is a graduate next year and online school like Mettenburger and Borrows

Mett based on what I’ve seen so far. Brennan looks scared and plays scared. He’s GOT to speed up his decisionmaking and just execute.
